Day 1: Departure to Kibungo . This first day will take us on some fun ride, around lake Muhazi and then on nice off-road along the Akagera National Park and some wetlands, where various birds’ species can be observed.

(220 km off-road and paved section) Overnight in Kibungo

 

Day 2: Departure to Gisakura . Today will take us to some fast trails across Rwanda countryside, crossing irrigated lands and riding along several beautiful lakes of the southeast part of the country. We will then reach the Nyungwe Forest National Park riding on a beautiful curvy- asphalted road till our hotel.

(292 Km off-road and paved road) Overnight in Gisakura

 

Day 3: Departure to Kibuye . In the morning we will ride into the Nyungwe Forest National Park on highland fun trails along the West side of the Nyungwe Park and then on the Southern part of the Congo Nile Trail through the picturesque tea plantation of Gisovu finishing the day by a breath taking descent till lake Kivu and the town of Kibuye where we will spend the night by the lake.

Day 4: Departure to Musanze . A day full of amazing views, first on the lake Kivu, riding along the northern part of the Congo-Nile trail till Gisenyi, by the border of Congo, then along the impressive Volcanoes chain, land of the Mountain Gorillas.

Day 5: Departure to Kisoro . A great off-road ride around the two lakes Ruhondo and Burera, offering memorable views on the Virunga Volcanoes. We will then cross the Ugandan border to reach the town of Kisoro, located under the peaks of the Mufumbiro Mountains, which are part of the Virunga Mountains, home of the rare mountain gorillas.

Day 6: Gorilla trekking nearby Kisoro . You will head to the National Park head quarter, where you will start trekking to admire the Mountain Gorillas. Definitely a unique experience and one that you will never forget! This visit could be a quick one as it could be a long one; therefore we will have to spend the night in Kisoro. For the ones not visiting the Gorillas, we will go for a nice ride around lake Mutanda.

Day 7: Departure to Queen Elizabeth National Park . We will start the day by crossing the famous Bwindi impenetrable forest, also land of the Mountain Gorillas. We will ride deep into the Ugandan state and see the most beautiful landscape and people. We will then ride across the southern part of the Queen Elizabeth National Park to reach our final destination.

(250 km mostly off-road) Overnight in Q.E.N.P.

 

Day 8: Visit of Queen Elizabeth National Park . We will ride into the Queen Elizabeth National Park. This park has a rich variety of flora and fauna, home to 95 species of mammals and more than 600 species of birds, making the park a popular tourist attraction. The park has 5 types of vegetation: the equatorial forest, the grass savannah, the bush savannah, the acacia forests and the wetlands. Riding across the Park is a unique experience and guarantees the meeting with more than one of the savannah’s "Big Five".

We will reach the Mbeya peninsula from where we can take a boat to observe animals grazing on the shore of lake Edward and we will ride along the fascinating Katwe explosion craters’ trail.

Day 9: Departure to Lake Bunyonyi . We will start our ride back to the South of Uganda, across the countryside until the beautiful Lake of Bunyonyi, where we will spend the night.

Day 10: Departure to Kigali . Today, we will ride back to the Rwandan capital city, with some beautiful winding off-road ride across the 1000 Hills, touching the paved road just to cross the border. We will conclude our tour with a well-deserved last dinner.

East Africa Motorcycle Tour Itinerary- 21 days.

 Join this adventure guided motorcycle tour through some of East Africa's best visitor attractions. The motorcycle tour is pure adrenalin exhilirating adventure on motorbikes. The motorcycle tour start in Entebbe Uganda and ends in Entebbe Uganda. Pick up the motorcycle on day one and meet with guide for the motorcycle tour for briefing together with the motorcycle tour support team. The riding  heads north to Murchison Falls National Park perhaps Uganda's best and wildlife prolific national parks. Enjoy motorbike safaris in the park before riding to Kibale National Park for chimpanzee trekking via Hoima. 

This guided motorcycle tour gives you the opportunity to explore Queen Elizabeth Park and motorcycle game drives in search of the tree climbing lions before you then ride to Bwindi for gorilla tracking. From Bwindi the motorcycle tour proceeds to Rwanda via the Cyanika border crossing. Riding in Rwanda is on some of the best motorable roads in Africa with amazing views of The Land of a Thousand Hills. We ride through beautiful tea plantations, coffee plantations, along the shores of Lake Kivu from Gisenyi to Kibuye. Day 1:

From Kampala to Murchison Falls National Park. (Depart 5:30am, Arrival 2:00pm)

DISTANCE:                          310 Km (200 Tarmac, 110 Dirt)

ACOMMODATIONS:       Red Chilli Murchison. (Two Single Rooms) HIGHLIGHTS:     Rhino tracking optional

Murchison Falls National Park is the biggest National Park in Uganda and one of the Biggest in Africa. You will have option to Track Rhinos at Zziwa Rhino Sanctuary, from Kampala to Murchison Falls is all paved till you reach the last small town of Masindi from there the dirt road starts, you will ride through some very small villages as you head to the park entrance, once arrived at the Park gate, our Guide will Explain you how to ride inside the park. NOTE. Bring lots of water with you, from the park gate till the lodge its 2hours ride and gets very hot and humid if the sun is out. Ride Responsibly on the curve dirt road inside the park.

Day 2:

Stay in Murchison Falls National Park. (Depart 6:00am)

DISTANCE:                          170Kms (100 Dirt)

ACCOMMODATIONS:    Red Chilli Rest Camp. (Two Single Rooms)

HIGHLIGHTS:                     Game Ride and Boat trip to the bottom of the Murchison Falls.

Today you will start your day at 6am in the morning ride to the ferry crossing point at 6:45am, Ferry Departure is 7am, you will then Cross the river and start your morning game ride, expect to see lots of animals on your way and don’t ride fast, max speed is 40kmph in the national park, our guide and ranger will try their best to find as many animals as possible for you and try their luck to see if they can track big cats for you as well, the game ride stops at 10am in the morning, we have to be back at the ferry crossing before 11am in the morning to catch the 11am ferry to cross the river, head back to your lodge, change, freshen up and eat lunch, at 1pm you will head back to ferry crossing and take a boat ride to bottom of the Murchison Falls, Boat trip ends at 5pm, head back to your lodge and eat dinner and enjoy the evening.

Day 3:

Murchison River Lodge to Hoima Town. (Dep. 10:30am Arr. 1:00pm)

DISTANCE:                          150 Km (150 Dirt)

ACCOMMODATIONS:    Miika Eco Resort. (Double room two single beds) HIGHLIGHTS:                     Riding through the small villages, Off-road, Culture, Views.

Today you will ride to Hoima town to spend a night there. It’s a small town near Lake Albert. You will spend rest of your day wondering around in the small town of Hoima, try local beers, food and local markets.

Day 4:

Hoima Town to Kibale Forest. (Dep. 09:00am Arr. 4:00pm) DISTANCE:                          230 Km (50km tarmac , 180 Dirt) ACCOMMODATIONS:    Rweteera Safari Lodge. (Two Single Rooms) HIGHLIGHTS:     Off-road, Views, Culture, Local Food.

Enjoy one of the most Beautiful Views in Uganda along the Rwenzori Mountains, you will pass through some small villages, you will be riding on a Dirt Road whole day! You will see Lake Edward which borders to Congo, you will have lunch at Fort Portal town before arriving at your Lodge around 4:00pm

Day 5:

Kibale Forest. (A day for relaxing or do some other activities) ACCOMMODATIONS:    Rweteera Safari Lodge. (Two Single Rooms) HIGHLIGHTS:                     Culture, Local Food, Chimps Tracking (optional), Hiking.

Today everything depends on you, you can either go for Chimps tracking in Kibale Forest, or go for hiking in the mountains, walk around the local villages to see and meet local people, enjoy walking around the crater lakes or just sit back and relax, enjoy the view of mountains from the lodge. 

Day 6:

Kibale Forest to Queen Elizabeth National Park. (Dept 10:00am) DISTANCE:                          143km (40km Tarmac, 103km Dirt) ACCOMMODATIONS:    Kasenyi Safari camp. (Double room two single beds)

HIGHLIGHTS:                     Potholes, Rwenzori Mountains, Uganda Equator, Evening game Ride.

Today you will cover the Shortest Distance but can take about 4hrs because of the road conditions, we will arrive at lodge and settle in, have lunch and freshen up, we will head out for a evening Game Ride around 4pm and be back in the lodge around 6:30pm, enjoy the evening game ride and dinner, Do not walk around in this lodge by yourself after sunset, always have an armed ranger escort you from the restaurant till your room, wildlife is everywhere in this lodge.

Day 7:

Stay in Queen Elizabeth National Park. (Depart 6:30am)

DISTANCE:                          150km Dirt

ACCOMMODATIONS:    Kasenyi Safari Lodge. (Double room two single beds) HIGHLIGHTS:         Morning Game Ride and Boat trip.

Today the morning game drive starts at 6:30am and we will arrive the park gate at 7:00am, enter the park ride around for 3-4hours and try to find tree climbing lions which are very unique in Africa, you will some herds of elephants, lots of antelopes and if lucky you could spot a leopard, head back to lodge, freshen up and prepare yourself for the boat trip which starts at 2:00pm at Kazinga Channel , the boat trip ends around 5:00pm and then we head back to the lodge for dinner, from boat trip to the lodge is around 1hr.

Day 8:

Queen Elizabeth National Park to Kisoro Town. (Dep. 7:00am Arr. 2pm)

DISTANCE:                          280km Tarmac

ACCOMMODATIONS:    Cassa Gorilla Camp. (Two Single Rooms)

HIGHLIGHTS:                     Beautiful Views of mountains, Curvy Roads, Sharp turns, Lake bunyonyi.

Today you will head to Bwindi Impenetrable Forest to track gorilla, you will arrive in Kisoro town and finish your day, watch out the sharp turns on this beautiful road, you will be riding through the mountains and altitude could get really high and get pretty cold in the night time and some time even in the day time too, you will be you riding around the lake Bunyonyi..

Day 9:            (BORDER CROSSING UGANDA/RWANDA)

From Gorilla Tracking to Kigali. (Wake up 6:30am) DISTANCE:       129km Tarmac ACCOMMODATIONS:    Cassa Gorilla Camp.

HIGHLIGHTS:                     Gorilla Trecking, Beautiful Views of mountains, Rwanda, Hills.

Today you will be taken to the Gate of the Forest and our guide will introduce you to Uganda Wildlife Rangers who will then take you to track Gorillas.

If you manage to finish the Gorilla tracking Early before lunch then we will cross the Border to Rwanda and head to Kigali which is the Capital City of Rwanda, on the way you will see lots of mountains that's why Rwanda is called "Land of Thousands hills", please do not over speed in Rwanda, always follow the Speed signs as long as you are in Rwanda. We will arrive in the Hotel around 5pm and enjoy rest of the evening at the hotel. If we can’t finish the Gorilla Trekking on time we will have to sleep another night at Virunga Hotel. 

Day 10:

Stay in Kigali (9:00am)

ACCOMMODATIONS:   Cassa Gorilla Camp

HIGHLIGHTS:                     Kigali City Tours, Genocide Memorials and Kigali Museum.

Today you we will be walking or driving around Kigali city and visit some of the most famous sites in Rwanda, includes many Genocide Memorials and Kigali museum.

 

Day 11:

Kigali to Geita. (Dep.7:00am 4:00pm)

DISTANCE:                          430km (all Tarmac few Potholes) ACCOMMODATIONS:    Lenny hotel Geita. (Two Single Rooms)

HIGHLIGHTS:                     Mountains, Border Crossing, Desert crossing, long day Riding.

Today you will ride to Geita Town of Tanzania, You will be on the Tarmac road most of the time today, Border Crossing here takes some time, we will have to do all the security checks, passing our luggage through machines and waiting in line, so do not panic, We will try to have a few minutes stop at the Rusumo Falls while crossing the border. The Falls are located on the border line of Rwanda and Tanzania.

 

Day 12: (RIDE IN VAN)

Geita to Serengeti National Park. (Dep.6:00am Arr.4:00pm)

DISTANCE:                          417km (all Off-road) By Van

ACCOMMODATIONS:    Mapito Lodge Serengeti. (Double room two single beds)

 

HIGHLIGHTS:                     Masai Mara, Wildlife, African Bush, Serengeti National Park.

Today you will leave the bikes behind and pack your luggage in the car and head to Serengeti National Park, It's a long drive, better to leave early so we can get there before it gets dark, On the way you will witness so many small Masai Villages as we make our way to Serengeti National Park, our Guide will help us take the bikes to Nairobi and wait for us in Nairobi with the bikes. We will try to see if we can do evening game drive in Serengeti National park if we can arrive early enough today.

 

Day 13: (RIDE IN VAN)

Serengeti National Park. (Dep. 6:00am) DISTANCE:                          300km (All Off-road) by van ACCOMMODATIONS:          Hhando Lodge

HIGHLIGHTS:                     Game Drive, Great Migration, Masai People, Masai Mara, Mountain View.

Today early morning Game drive starts in Serengeti National Park, Serengeti is Arguably the best National Park in the Africa and we are very much sure you will see why, we will be seeing African Big 5 on our Game drive, Surely you will be able to see lots and lots of wildlife in Serengeti.

After the Game Drive in Serengeti we will head to Ngorongoro Crater, you will still be driving within Serengeti National Park, Ngorongoro Crater is located further north of Serengeti and its one of the most beautiful places in African Continent, here you will arrive at the hotel around 3-4pm and settle in, enjoy the sunset with a cold beer, hear the wildlife and take it all in, It gets pretty cold in the night here so have a sweatshirt with you

 

Day 14: (RIDE IN VAN)

Ngorongoro Crater to Mount Kilimanjaro. (Dep.11:00am Arr. 3:30pm) DISTANCE:       260km (200km Tarmac, 50kmoff-road) by Van ACCOMMODATIONS:    Kili Homebase & campsite.

HIGHLIGHTS:                     Beautiful Views, nice tarmac Road, Masai Mara, Arusha town.

Today After lunch you we start our journey to Mount Kilimanjaro, We will still be in Masai Mara Region of Tanzania so expect to see lots of Masai people around you, As we are driving to Kilimanjaro we will pass through a town called Arusha which is very famous for its culture and history, You will enjoy lots of mountains views as we drive to Mount Kilimanjaro.

 

Day 15:         (A day for relaxing or do some other activities) Stay in Mount Kilimanjaro.

ACCOMMODATIONS:   Kili Homebase & campsite.

HIGHLIGHTS:                     Resting, Swimming, Walks in the local villages, meet locals, Masai culture.

Today you have options to just sit back and rest or we can do many small local activities, like walk around the Masai Villages, meet locals, learn how Masai people are living life in this region and learn the history of their culture. It’s basically a day where you can choose to do nothing or just do some small walks in and out of the hotel. Enjoy the view of Mount Kilimanjaro from your Hotel.

 

Day 16:         (MOTORCYCLE) (BORDER CROSSING TANZANIA/KENYA)

Mount Kilimanjaro to Nairobi. (Dept. 10:00am Arr. 4:00pm) DISTANCE:       350km (All Tarmac) By Van ACCOMMODATIONS:    Zereniti House

HIGHLIGHTS:                     Masai Mara Region, Border Crossing, Nairobi City.

 

Today you will enjoy another border crossing as we head to Kenya's Capital city Nairobi, We will be staying in the heart of Nairobi and spend two days wondering around the city, Expect everything which a busy African Capital City has to offer, Noise, Busy life, Traffic and chaos, You will Also find your bikes which your left at Geita Town Parked, Washed and waiting for you.

 

Day 17:         (A day for relaxing or do some other activities) Nairobi (Nairobery).

ACCOMMODATIONS:    Zereniti House

HIGHLIGHTS:                     Nairobi City Life, walk around town, shopping, Food, City Life.

Today you can wake up any time and get ready to explore the Nairobi City, by foot or by car it depend on you, do shopping, try local food, enjoy riding on Boda Boda in town or just simple walk around the city.

 

Day 18:

Nairobi to Eldoret.     (Dep. 11:00am Arr. 4:00pm)

DINTANCE:                         350km (All tarmac)

ACCOMMODATIONS:    Grand Swiss Hotel. (Two Single Rooms) 

HIGHLIGHTS:                     Nairobi Traffic, Lake Naivasha, Great Rift Valley, Savannah.

Head to Kisumu Town, today you will riding through valleys and mountains before you cross Lake Naivasha town, keep your heads up for some breathtaking views along the road and watch out for your speed limits, Traffic Police will be standing alert on this road and waiting for you to make a small mistake.

 

Day 19:         (BORDER CROSSING KENYA/UGANDA)

Kisimu to Jinja. (Dep. 10:00am Arr. 3:00pm)

DINTANCE:                         350km (All tarmac)

ACCOMMODATIONS:    Nile River Explorer. (Two Single Rooms)       

HIGHLIGHTS:                     Border Crossing, Forest, Nile River, Source of the Nile.

Today you will ride from kisimu to Jinja town (Uganda), you will cross Kenya/Uganda border and head to Jinja, Its a all Tarmac road and border crossing can be hectic but our guide will make sure all the process goes smooth and easy, Arrive in Jinja and enjoy the sunset on the Nile river.

 

Day 20:         (A day for relaxing or do rafting)

Stay in Jinja (Nile River Rafting). (Dep. 7:00am Arr. 4:00pm) ACCOMMODATIONS:              Nile River Explorer. (Two Single Rooms) HIGHLIGHTS:          Rafting, Rafting, Rafting and Wet

Today you will spend the whole day on white water rafting and enjoying the River Nile.

 

Day 21:

Today you will be heading back to Kampala, on your way you will pass by Mabira Forest and be very careful with the traffic on the road, Traffic jams are very common on this route so be ready for some stressful riding.

Gorilla Tracking cost 745USD , if you would like to go for the Gorilla tracking then kindly send the money for the tracking early so we can buy the tracking permit for you from Kampala in advance.

, Please Book your Flights accordingly. We will have 10min break/stop, every after 45mins of riding to relax, refresh, drink water, enjoy the view, take pics, meet local people along the road .
