Welcome to Bucharest Romania for an adventure motorcycle tour.

Day 1: Arrival to Bucharest.

Day 2: Ride to Carpathian Mountains via the Cheia Pass.

Day 3:  Ride to Transylvania, visit the Bran Castle, ride the Transfagarasan Pass.

Day 4:  Travel to Carpathian Mountains and overnight at the Ranca Ski Resort.

Day 5:  Ride to Peștera Muierilor, visit the Polovragi Monastery and overnight at Horezu.

Day 6: Ride back to Bucharest and departure.

Day 1:

Arrival in Bucharest the beautiful city of Romania. Time permitting, you will have a chance to visit the Palace of Parliament or simply take a stroll in the old city centre of Bucharest. You’ll be entertained in beautiful Bucharest, taste some of Romania’s best wines and try some local Romanian dishes in a swanky Bucharest restaurant. You will later return to your hotel, Parliament Hotel located in the heart of Bucharest within walking distance of most of Bucharest’s visitor attractions.

Day 2

Today is the start of the Romania motorcycle tour adventure. You’ll be united with the rental motorcycle for the tour. You’ll have a chance to familiarise yourself with the rental BMW and to make any adjustments that suit your riding preferences. We start the Romania motorcycle tour by riding to the Carpathian Mountains which are the perfect motorcycle tour destination as you ride through sharp mountain passes with awesome views of Cheia Pass one of the most famous and popular passes in Romania.. A hidden gem and not very well know my most foreign rider to Romania.

We later visit Slanic Prahova the largest salt mine in Europe. You’ll have traditional Romanian lunch in the heart of the beautiful Carpathian Mountains. We later continue the Romania motorcycle tour as we head to an old medieval city, take a walk through some of the narrowest streets in Europe, soak in the ancient architecture of old buildings as well as a multitude of historical attractions that bring some many visitors to Romania each year to witness.

Day 3

On this 3rd day of the Romania motorcycle tour, you’ll immerse yourself in Romanian history, culture, and traditions. Transylvania is a magical destination in Romania. Visit the Bran Castle, commonly referred to as the Dracula Castle.  You’ll continue riding to a UNESCO World Heritage Site, a small citadel in a medieval fortified city. As you visit the UNESCO site, you may check out a nearby famous Citadel Valley Cave where you have an opportunity to watch a classical concert in progress.

We later depart and continue riding one of the most spectacular riding routes in Europe only compared to the NC500 in Scotland UK. Ride the legendary Transfagarasan Pass, perhaps the most sought-after motorcycling route by adventure motorcycle riders globally! Transfagarasan Pass crosses the Carpathian Mountains and offers rider splendid views of beautiful Romania. Ride through sharp mountain passes and have a dip and relax in a very beautiful lake.

You continue riding to the old city of Sibiu. You will explore the city and all its visitor attractions and overnight at a boutique hotel.

Day 4

Today after an early breakfast, we continue with our Romania motorcycle adventure tour.  You have a great exciting motorcycling day ahead as you ride through the awesome Carpathian Mountains.  Ride the Transalpina Pass, the route at the highest altitude, standing at 2100 meters and offering riders beautiful views and a wonderful riding experience of a lifetime.

Continue riding the Transalpina Pass until we arrive at Ranca Ski Resort at an altitude of 1600m where we spend the night in a boutique hotel bang in the middle of Romanian mountains.

Day 5          

Today we continue the Romania motorbike tour with a visit to the Peștera Muierilor (Romanian for “The Woman’s Cave”), which is an elaborate cave system located in the Baia de Fier commune, Gorj County,

We drive right past the Peștera Muierilor and get a chance to visit the Polovragi Monastery, the most famous monastery in this Romanian region.

We continue driving to Horezu town which is famous for its traditions and pottery. We continue riding back towards Bucharest through beautiful roads and ride through villages meeting locals going about their daily lives. We drive through a well-known Black Hill, a hill full of serpentines, forests and lakes. A truly memorable motorcycle tour adventure of Romania.

Day 6

Bucharest departure

Today is our final day of the thrilling Romania motorbike tour. We ride back to Bucharest and drop off our rental motorcycles at our Bucharest motorcycle rental base. Depending on departure time from Bucharest, you have the option of a walking tour in the historical city centre of Bucharest or take an open tourist bus that takes you to the most important visitor attractions of the beautiful city of Bucharest.
